Meet KJ

K.J. is a passionate advocate for social justice and community building in his home city of Minneapolis.
He is the founder and CEO and KJ612Outreach, centered around CVI (Community Violence Intervention)
and youth mentorship. He serves as the Program Manager of the Voices Of Youth Advisory Council at
YouthLink. He is a founding board member on the advisory board for the Fund For Safe Communities at
the Minneapolis Foundation and serves on the board of directors for Anything Helps, a recovery and
harm reduction organization located in North Minneapolis. He does speaking engagements, hosts
trainings, does consulting, is a licensed Realtor, and a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist. He coaches
youth basketball and volunteers at a local boxing gym as well.
