Meet John

John Roder has been a landlord for 30 years, primarily serving disadvantaged populations to obtain and remain housed. Through his housing work and personal experience, he has seen the challenges substance use and mental health disorders bring directly to individuals, subsequently to their families and neighbors and to society in general. Convinced there is a better way, he endeavors to support those who have insight and abilities in the hope of reducing the duration and severity of the effects of substance use and mental health disorders. John was instrumental in the development of the Northside Hub on Fremont Avenue, housing Anything Helps!
