COO for White Earth Nation's Urban Behavioral Health Programs and Treasurer for Anything Helps
Charles Hilger, MSW, LADC, is a person with lived experience, and is the Chief Operating Officer for White Earth Nation’s Urban Behavioral Health Programs. He is also the President of Hilger Behavioral Health Consultants which focuses on regulatory compliance for licensed SUD/MH programs and organizational leadership and development. He is a graduate of St. Thomas University’s Master of Social Work program and former adjunct faculty at Argosy University’s Master of Clinical Psychology program. He has 25 years of counseling and administrative experience leading behavioral health programs. He presents regularly at conferences, workshops and academic institutions and collaborates with community groups and providers to educate about SUD/MH recovery approaches. Mr. Hilger serves as the President of the MN Assoc. of Resources and Recovery in Chemical Health (MARRCH) and as the treasurer for Anything Helps, a Recovery Community Organization. He has experience working with state advisory committees and national advocacy boards. Mr. Hilger is the former Vice Chair of the Veterans Mental Health Advisory Committee at the VA hospital Mpls. and was appointed by the Governor to serve two terms on the Task Force on Medical Cannabis and Therapeutic Research.
